Teisennau Reis ar y Radell

Eine durchaus leckere Alternative zu Quarkkeulchen, mit Apfelmus sicher noch leckerer. :)
4 oz. pudding rice
4 ot. flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 oz. sugar
1/2 oz. butter, softened
1 small egg, beaten
Milk
Boil the rice in unsalted water until cooked and then drain VERY thoroughly. Sift the flour, baking powder an salt together into bowl, then rub in the butter until the mix resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and the rice, then add the egg and sufficient milk to make a soft dough that will drop easily off a tablespoon. Heat a buttered griddle or heavy based frying pan then drop on tablespoons of the mixtures and cook for 5 minutes, turning once, until golden. Serve warm, plain or with butter.
